COTC Holiday Window Painting & Hanging of the Greens!

Window painting.jpg

Attention all painters Kindergarten through High School (Moms and Dads too):
On Sunday, November 25, 2018, from 4:00p until we are covered with paint, we will be painting windows for the upcoming Advent Season! Remember this is the weekend of Thanksgiving this year, so what better way to work off some of that stuffing and pie!

We will start at 4:00p by getting our paint and picking out a window or windows we want to do. Then we will get down to the fun and messy work of making our church look great. We will break at 5:30p for some dinner and fellowship before finishing it up for the night between 6:00p-7:00p. If your child is not sure what to paint, help him/her by looking at Christmas cards, books, or coloring books for ideas.

Please come and help with the Hanging of the Greens as many hands make light work. This year we are going to offer childcare for families who want to help with the Hanging of the Greens but have children too young to paint. However, you will need to sign up in the lobby to let us know if you need this service, as we need to let our childcare staff know if they are needed.

The Un-Hanging of the Greens Party will be on January 12, 2019, starting at 9:00a. Come for some donuts and help us pack up all of our beautiful decorations.

Christmas Craft Fair 3:00-5:00p, Social Room

Christmas is just around the corner and with that comes our annual Children’s Christmas Craft Fair. Children ages kindergarten to fifth grade are welcome to come and make some cool Christmas crafts and gifts. Children over three but not yet in school are welcome to come but must have a parent to help and stay with them. Please sign up in the Lobby.

If you are an arts & crafty person or have any ideas for a craft that children would like, contact me at

This is a fun time to meet and interact with our younger church members.
