Music for all ages & styles

 

Chancel Choir (adults) meets on Thursday evenings at 7:15 p.m. for rehearsal. They perform every Sunday from September through May at the 11:00 worship service.

 

Praise Team (youth and adults) rehearse most Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. The team is composed of vocalists, guitarists, a drummer and pianist. They are directed by our Contemporary Worship Artistic Coordinator. The group leads the congregation in worship during our 9:30 contemporary worship service every Sunday.

A Handbell Choir (youth and adults) rehearses most Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Church of the Cross owns a three-octave White Chapel handbell set which is played periodically in the Sunday morning (11:00) worship service.

 Our  Children's Choir  (5yr-5th grade)   assembles twice a year and rehearses for four weeks prior to Christmas and Easter. Then they sing in worship at the 7:30 Christmas Eve service and on Easter morning. This group is led by Debbie Robillard.

Kids Praise is a children’s music group led by Emily Adams for children K-6th grade. They meet during the half hour between services to learn songs and praise our God through song. They will occasionally share their music in the worship services.

Joy Unbounded is a quintet that periodically sings in our worship service and other church events. Their music style is upbeat and joyful and they frequently sing with pre-recorded accompaniment.
