In this passage we detect jealousy on the part of Herod toward Jesus. They had never even met, but Herod appears to be jealous of Jesus’ popularity with the people. But Jesus knows his Father’s plan for his life on earth and he is undaunted. How does jealousy creep into our lives? How do we respond?
