The disciples want to send the crowd away but Jesus orders them to feed the crowd. They protest. In the face of human need, we often protest the need is beyond our resources. Jesus blesses the meal and the disciples pass it on to the crowd. This raises and important question, "In what ways have we been given blessed nourishment and failed to pass it along to people in need?"
