Church of the Cross is a growing community of faith where Jesus Christ changes lives.

We welcome the Holy Spirit so all will discover their God-given gifts and delight in sharing the love of Christ in the community and the world. Grace so pervades the atmosphere of the church that questions, doubts and fears can be honestly expressed and every person is loved, respected, nurtured and celebrated.

Youth Fellowship Meets Sunday Evenings

Under the leadership of Kevin Robillard, the Youth Fellowship (YF) is thriving at Church of the Cross with over 35 youth in grades 6-12 participating.

The youth meet Sunday evenings at 5:30p, beginning with a meal provided by church members. The rest of the evening is spent in a variety of activities including Bible study, games, movies or adventures like bowling, skiing/tubing, and scavenger hunts. If you have any questions regarding YF, please contact Kevin at iou2Kmr@yahoo.com. See more on the Youth Ministries page.

New Children’s Music Ministry !

Hey Parents! Do your children love to sing? A new music ministry has begun for children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade. We wanted to make music fun, exciting and convenient for everyone. This takes place in the upper level Chapel immediately following the 9:30a worship service.

Emily Adams believes that sharing music is a calling in her life and has asked to begin this ministry. If you are interested in having your children join in this ministry or have questions, please email Emily at kidspraise316@gmail.com.

It is said that a businessman asked a friend in his Bible study group, "Isn't it possible to live a Christian life in secret?" His friend replied, "It is impossible for you to have Jesus living within you without some of Him leaking out."

You may try, but it’s impossible to hide your excitement when you have been touched by Jesus--ask the Apostle Paul. And like Paul, we do need you to be involved in God’s vision and mission for COTC as a Lay Servant – or better still, a Volunteer.

September sermon series:

We start a journey through the month of September meditating on one of the most misunderstood--but most marvelous and meaningful--books in the New Testament, the Epistle of James.

James is a pragmatic apostle. He saw clearly that the majority of people are not moved by theoretical persuasion, but are looking for practical answers, for purpose and meaning, and for direction in the midst of ethical problems and challenges.

Sunday sermons are available as podcasts. You can subscribe through the iTunes Store or the RSS link on the Worship Podcast page of this website. You can query the sermon podcasts for particular topics such as "faith" or "salvation" or "fear" or "hope"? Scroll to the bottom of the Worship Podcast page and search for your topic of choice. It may take a minute, but a list of podcasts on that topic will appear (as well as other references throughout the website).
