Church of the Cross is a growing community of faith where Jesus Christ changes lives.

We welcome the Holy Spirit so all will discover their God-given gifts and delight in sharing the love of Christ in the community and the world. Grace so pervades the atmosphere of the church that questions, doubts and fears can be honestly expressed and every person is loved, respected, nurtured and celebrated.

April 24-26, 2:00 - 9:00p &
April 27, 10:00a - 5:00p

This year is Church of the Cross’ 175th anniversary! To commemorate this anniversary, we have contracted with Lifetouch to produce an Anniversary Edition Pictorial Directory.

Click the picture below to go to Lifetouch’s scheduling page where you can schedule your photo session.

If you need assistance, you can either call the church office (293-5217) or Joyce Evenden (609-6448). Also, someone will be in the church lobby on three Sunday mornings—March, 31, April 7, April 14—to schedule your appointment.

Friends & family members are welcome to sign up even if they don’t attend Church of the Cross. They will receive a complimentary 8 x 10 photograph but will not be printed in the church directory. It’s a great way for families to have professional family photographs taken. Invitation cards are available in the lobby at the Visitor Center.

If you are unavailable the week of the photography, it is possible to schedule at other churches two weeks ahead of or two weeks after Church of the Cross’ scheduled dates. Just let us know and we will find a nearby location for you.

** Military and First Responders (active or retired) and Seniors 60+ can receive a 20% discount on photo orders.

** Bring a non-perishable food item for our food pantry collection and receive $5 off your photo order.

Six-Week Lenten Study
Mondays, March 11 –
April 14, 7:00p in the Parlor

Pastor Gus will be leading a six-week Lenten study. The study is following the book, He Set His Face to Jerusalem, by Richard B. Wilke. Jesus set his face toward Jerusalem and in so doing, he offered us God's life, power, and salvation. As followers of Jesus, we are called to reflect on and pray about where we set our faces day by day. Books for the study will be available in the office by Sunday, February 10th, and will be yours to keep. A donation for the book would greatly be appreciated. If you have questions, please contact the office at 293-5217 or office@churchofthecrossum.org.
